Code of Conduct

The TurboSquid buyer community often has needs that are not met with our stock assets including modifications to existing models, new models or animations, or wanting to hire an artist for a project or permanent position.  The goal of this program is to allow our buyers to post their needs in a private venue, and allow our select artists the opportunity to meet those needs in a timely and professional manner.  We also view participation in this marketplace to be a privilege, and as such, professional decorum will be expected at all times.

While we do not expect any issues, please be aware that your membership in this program is at the sole discretion of TurboSquid and can be revoked at any time. Please carefully read through the policies and procedures of this program.

(Various terms are used in the community, so make note that buyers and clients are the same, as are artists and vendors.)

1. As part of this program you will be able to view projects through special forums that have been set up for this purpose.

2. You will be allowed to view the projects and ask questions of the client in these Forums.

3. If you decide that you want to bid on one of these jobs you MUST do so via a Support Ticket. Any bids submitted through the forum will be removed by the moderator and you will not be considered for the job.

4. You must use a professional demeanor and appropriate language at all times or you will be removed from the program.

5. You must not comment on the other vendors or other clients in these forums. Violators will be removed from the program.

6. If you have any problems with a client or another vendor, you will contact Support immediately.

7. Ranting, venting, name-calling will not be tolerated for any reason.

8. If you are selected for a job a separate forum will be set up for you and the client.

9. Please keep the client’s timeline in mind when you bid. Vendors who bid on projects and miss deadlines can be removed from the TurboSquid Talent-on-Demand Program.

10. We are enabling two payment methods – either direct transaction between Buyer and Artist, or using TurboSquid as an Escrow and Project Management Service.  If you choose to deal directly with each other, TurboSquid will not come to your assistance in the event of a dispute, delay or other problem with your project.  If you use TS as a trusted intermediary, you must follow the directions to ensure proper pricing, delivery and information flow.  Any communication outside of the forums and CS Support ticket will not be considered in an arbitration or dispute.  This structure is in place to ensure a reliable record of communication for the protection of all parties involved.
